Wrecked in Rhode Island

Tim and I met up recently to partake in a great all-American gearhead past time: junk-yarding! Obstentively, I was looking for spare parts from a 2005-2009 Subaru Outback, specifically a second grille for a project I want to try. But really the reason for our trip was to wander around and look at the late-model junkers and to kill a few hours. Here are a some of the more interesting finds.

  1. I have to say, that Bronco looked even better than it does in pictures. As Zack surmised, it must have come from a used car lot that couldn’t move it. It smelled of that dealership cleaning chemical aroma inside, but was almost immaculate.
    I think the interior of the Ramcharger looked just as nice, but that was because all the doors were locked…
