Tim and I met up recently to partake in a great all-American gearhead past time: junk-yarding! Obstentively, I was looking for spare parts from a 2005-2009 Subaru Outback, specifically a second grille for a project I want to try. But really the reason for our trip was to wander around and look at the late-model junkers and to kill a few hours. Here are a some of the more interesting finds.

Look at all that crushed red velour! Man, the 80s…
Bronco II’s interior was shockingly clean. It smelled used car lot fresh and clean!
Tim’s glee at finding this in the yard was depressing.
Ooh, fancy Vanden Plas!
4.0 litre of furious British power. Its positively resolute.
My favorite teacher in high school drove one, even back then it was a rare thing getting rarer.
When was the last time you saw a Ram Charger in the wild?
